A possible lead to Egypt's greatest mystery
A couple days ago another great discovery was made in Egypt. During an excavation of the Taposiris Magna Temple. This temple is believed to be dedicated to Osiris - the most important god of the ancient Egypt. The archeologists have found a 1.3km long tunnel 13 meters under the ground. This is the first time a tunnel was found under a temple. It is speculated that this tunnel may lead into the long-lost tomb of Cleopatra, the last pharaoh of Egypt. Dr Kathleen Martinez has been looking for Cleopatra's tomb for 15 years and has found numerous statues and coins of her but this is the most important thing she has ever found. She believes that "This is the perfect spot for the tomb of Cleopatra"
I think that this is a very important discovery that can help us solve more mysteries because if this actually is a part of Cleopatra tomb we might try to look under more temples and find a lot more things. From unveiling something like that the history of the ancient Egypt will be completely different on how we can understand it and perceive it. The information and research that can be done from this could be revolutionary so I really hope that they found the right spot.
