Prime ministers of the UK

 After the resignation of Boris Johnson as the Prime Minister of the UK caused by multiple accusations for example throwing a giant party during the Covid lockdown. A couple months later, on the 6th of October a british politician Liz Truss became the new Prime Minister of the UK. Only 45 days later Liz Truss resigned her leadership of the Conservative party and the position as the prime minister after failing tax-cutting budgets which lead to massive financial market drops. This led to a revolt in her own party and finally caused to leave her occupation.Because of this Liz Truss became the shortest-serving prime minister in the history of the UK. A couple days ago it was revealed that another politician called Rishi Sunak is going to take her place. Rishi Sunak is a British politician of Indian descent and is husband to Ashkata Murty, the daughter of an indian billionaire Narayan Murty. 

I think that Liz Truss' situation was terrible from the start. Her premiership was first paused because of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. She also got the role at a very bad economical time caused by the war in Ukraine and the inflation of power costs. Fortunately the financial market in the UK got back up after her resignation, so the situation in the UK isn't as bad as it was. I really hope that Rishi Sunak will do his job properly and won't get into so much trouble as Boris Johnson did.

    It seems you have a lot of sympathy for Liz Truss, which is strange because she made terrible mistakes and clearly wasn't fit for this job.

Inappropriate KFC promotion

  On the 9th of November in Germany there is an anniversary of the Kristallnacht - the night in 1938 where Nazi-led attacks destroyed over 90 Jewish-owned businesses. On this day there are many memorial events reflecting Nazi Germany and their actions in WW2. Every person which had the KFC app installed or had other notifications from KFC was sent a message saying  "It's memorial day for Kristallnacht! Treat yourself with more tender cheese on your crispy chicken. Now at KFCheese!". An hour after this event KFC removed the message, apologised for it and blamed the automatic system which they use for sending notifications for holidays or other events. I think that this is sort of a funny mishap but not the historical event of course. This also shows how companies such as KFC use special occasions to make some extra money. Crimean Bridge

 On 8th of October it has been reported that the bridge in Crimea which is connecting Russia to Ukraine has been partially blown up. This explosion made damage to one of the lanes of the bridge causing it to partially collapse into the water. Train tracks that were also part of the bridge have also suffered substancial damage. This explosion is said to come from a bomb that has been put into a truck that was on the bridge. There are speculations that it was done by Ukrainian soldiers. This bridge was a crucial part of transporting materials, ammunition and food to Russian soldiers and with this being cut off Ukrainians have a much better chance of winning the war that has been going on since february 2022.   I think that this event is very important for Ukraine and it will get them closer to fight off the invaders.
