North Korean missle tests

 On the 4th of October 2022 North Korea launched a long range  ballistic missle that traveled 4500km and reached an altitude of 1000km. This was North Korea's first missle launch over Japan since 2017. This action was probably made in response to South Korea, Japan and USA's military drills. The first missle was fired on 25th of September 2022 the day after a US naval carrier arrived in waters around the Korean peninsula. Since then several more missles have been fired and is raising concerns about another nuclear weapon test by North Korea. On the 14th of October 2022 North Korea fired several artillery shells near the border with South Korea. It was later confirmed by the north korean government that it was a simulation of a nuclear defense against South Korea.

In my opinion North Korea is a great threat to the entire world. This country is very aggresive and unstable and now the situation with them has gotten even worse. I think that their missle tests might have been also caused by the war in Ukraine. They want to test their weapons in case they also need to make military interventions but they do them ilegally. Nuclear tests have been banned by all countries for a long time and if North Korea plans on doing one, it will definitely raise concers about their intentions. Affairs with North Korea is definitely not what the world needed in these times.

Inappropriate KFC promotion

  On the 9th of November in Germany there is an anniversary of the Kristallnacht - the night in 1938 where Nazi-led attacks destroyed over 90 Jewish-owned businesses. On this day there are many memorial events reflecting Nazi Germany and their actions in WW2. Every person which had the KFC app installed or had other notifications from KFC was sent a message saying  "It's memorial day for Kristallnacht! Treat yourself with more tender cheese on your crispy chicken. Now at KFCheese!". An hour after this event KFC removed the message, apologised for it and blamed the automatic system which they use for sending notifications for holidays or other events. I think that this is sort of a funny mishap but not the historical event of course. This also shows how companies such as KFC use special occasions to make some extra money. Crimean Bridge

 On 8th of October it has been reported that the bridge in Crimea which is connecting Russia to Ukraine has been partially blown up. This explosion made damage to one of the lanes of the bridge causing it to partially collapse into the water. Train tracks that were also part of the bridge have also suffered substancial damage. This explosion is said to come from a bomb that has been put into a truck that was on the bridge. There are speculations that it was done by Ukrainian soldiers. This bridge was a crucial part of transporting materials, ammunition and food to Russian soldiers and with this being cut off Ukrainians have a much better chance of winning the war that has been going on since february 2022.   I think that this event is very important for Ukraine and it will get them closer to fight off the invaders.
