The history of Internet
The Internet first began in the 1950s in USA during the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union. Computer that were used by the government were 4 metres long and weighed almost a ton which made them very unreliable because they were expensive and in limited quantaties. After some time they started to develop a network which was supposed to give access to computers that were located far away from a person that wanted to use them. Many different scientists were put on this project so the Internet has no true inventor. In 1965 Lawrence Roberts used two different computers to make them "talk to each other" and later the first messages through the internet were sent. The first generation of the internet was born called the Arpanet, but it was decomissioned in 1990 and was replaced by a newer one. Many alterations to the internet led to the internet we know today.
